This morning while changing Hugh V’s diaper, I said:” now we have to wipe that pee off so the skin doesn’t hurt later”. Hugh V says: “do we need ahh cream (diaper rash paste)?” To which I replied:”no, we need a little boy who puts his pee in the potty.” To which he replied:” well, I’m definitely a little boy.”
I think he’s done with Tetris. Everything becomes an “H”. 
This weekend three of us were knocked out sick. Hugh V was as bright as could be. He was sick two days prior. So we did lots of snuggling and outside walks.
‘Let’s use the list of chapters…’ That is what Hugh V said tonight as we looked for a bedtime story. He knows each story in the book. But now he also know how to use an index at three years old! So proud and happy.
And the boat is about to launch! All a board!

Wonderful week. ICLDC is the week that it snows and Eugene. This time with ICLDC as an all remote conference I’m here to enjoy it with my kids!
It was an exceptionally busy day at the local mall, Valley River Center. There’s a special children’s museum there to watch my children have membership. However on this day there were so many people there that there was a line and we were to come back in a few minutes. We decided to take a walk. And what would you know that we found! Trains!
